We live in a moment of exceptionality, which is slowly drawing to a close. Surely, little by little, we will regain normality in all aspects of our lives, but first, we must go through a process of transition in which we must make small efforts and adaptations. It is normal for our patients to have doubts about how to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the dental clinic.

For this, we will need your collaboration, presenting a series of measures that will make the visit more fluid and pleasant in this period of transition.

Measures to prevent coronavirus in the dental clinic:

We recommend making an appointment by phone (better than showing up at the clinic). Our reception colleagues will carry out the triage. Basically, they will be focused questions to know if the coronavirus has passed, if it has been in contact or if some of its symptoms appear.

Preventive measures in the clinic:

  • The ideal is to go to the clinic alone, without companions (unless it is a minor or person in need of help, in which case a single companion will be accepted).
  • We must remove bracelets, necklaces, or earrings as it has been shown that the coronavirus remains on surfaces for days.
  • We must know that, when you arrive at the clinic, you will be given a series of instructions, and you will be asked to rub your hands with a hydroalcoholic gel.
  • In the case of meeting another patient in the consultation, you must maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters. For this, we will organize the positions in the waiting room.
  • We are developing an appointment system to avoid waiting. This is always a complicated subject since each patient requires different times, even for the same treatment. We must arrive at the agreed time, not before time, as well as we will notify in case of delay to spend as little time as possible in the waiting room.
  • We will try to concentrate on treatments. With the series of measures that we must apply, we will try to make fewer visits with more treatment.

To finish, remember that if you develop any signs or symptoms, whether respiratory, discomfort, fever, or any other of the signs, or if during this time you come into contact with a confirmed patient, you must notify us to postpone the appointment.

Thank you very much for the collaboration and understanding, hoping to see us again and be able to recover normality.
